Who I Am
I’m a wife and mother.
I spend my days with my daughter, reading and writing, cooking and discussing. I value: family time, life without school, progressive politics, yoga, good friends, and lifelong learning.
The older I get, the more I feel the need to expand my knowledge, my thoughts, and my life.

It is inspiring to hear of good reading materials. Looking forward to enjoying some of these books of Betsy-Tacy. Awesome picture!
I know that is my beautiful cousin, inside & out.

I did indeed read your words and thank you most sincerely for your generosity to Lucy and to me. I have no plans for a sequel at this time. Readers often ask me–especially librarians–but I have so many ideas to pursue first. You might try reading Rodzina
who passes through the west on a train in serach of a new home. And thank you again. We writers are so beholden to people like you.

Hello there, I would like to use a picture that you posted to your blog sometime ago that shows some shirts hanging on a clothesline. We need your permission to use the photo (it will go in a newsletter to 30,000 subscribers and the article will promote use of clotheslines). Please contact me and I will provide you more details.

Hi, Kent.
Yes, please give me more details about the newsletter. After that, I’m sure I’ll give you my permission. I’m wondering if you can put “Photo copyright by Susan Gaissert” or something like that somewhere. (see attached) This is the photo you want, right? https://sgaissert.wordpress.com/files/2009/04/clothesline1.jpg
I look forward to hearing from you. Susan
