Carnival of Family Life: The Home Edition

As a first-time-ever blog carnival host, I am absolutely thrilled to be presenting the Carnival of Family Life. Due to technical difficulties, the carnival is a day late, which makes me feel like the hostess who comes to the door to greet her guests with her hair damp and the vacuum cleaner in full view, but, anyway, welcome to my home!

Let’s start in the kitchen, the heart of the home, where families gather.

Cooking & Recipes

Rani presents Sweet Sour Cabbage posted at Christ’s Bridge, a quick recipe for “a yummby cabbage dish.”

The Smarter Wallet presents Cheap Meals You Can Cook At Home To Save Money posted at The Smarter Wallet.

Now let’s move to the dining room, since dining room tables are the  best place for  family projects.

Aparna presents Home remedies with cumin seeds (jeera) posted at Beauty and Personality Grooming. Cumin seeds, one of the most common ingredients in Indian cuisine, are also used for preparing various medicines of unani and ayurvedic systems for dyspepsia, fever, swelling, and uterus problems.

Now that we’re feeling better, the living room is a good place to sit and have a few laughs.
