Tuesday’s Tribute: The Citizens of Iran

The people of Iran are putting their bodies and souls on the line for democracy.

Iranians in America are feeling the pain of not knowing how their relatives are being affected by the violence and repression that have resulted from the post-election protests.

I don’t normally mention my other web site here, but this is a special case. I had the opportunity to interview an Iranian girl who is attending graduate school in the United States. Her impressions of Iran, the U.S., and the future of Iran can be found here.

Please read it for yourself.
Please read it to your children, as a teachable moment.
Please pass it on to others.
And most of all, please think about how fortunate we are, and how there but for fortune go you or I. Allah Akbar.
